What is this Cardboard Box Office?

Welcome to Cardboard Box Office – our homemade creations of some of your favorite scenes from film and TV built from some of our favorite domestic junk.

The project began after finding that we had accumulated both a lot of cardboard boxes (due to moving to a new country) and a baby (due to giving birth). With our social lives drastically altered we decided to find a way to make some of those housebound weekends a little more fun.

The costumes, props, and sets in Cardboard Box Office are created entirely out of everyday household items, toys, cardboard, and three individuals slowly losing their sanity. Enjoy!

You two are some awesome parents. I wish I was your kid, your 53 year old kid to be exact. My parents although I love them just were not into anything remotely like this. They just wanted us to hurry and grow up.

(I came around 7 years after them) Some of the best, most repeated family stories involve my mom’s nuttiness. I’ll share just one: Remember the paper mustaches that had little hook-like appendages that went in the nostrils for holding the mustache on? My dad had grown a mustache at my mom’s request.
